Harbour Charm

Set in an inner courtyard belonging to the iconic Nyhavn Harbour, this design-savvy apartment is right in the thick of things. Part of a grand period building, while the shared entrance is pretty unremarkable, inside this home is a real gem. The living area is light-filled, and two of the elegant bedrooms have inter-connecting doors – handy for family sharing. There's also a single sofa bed in the lounge for teens who'd rather not share. The communal courtyard and playground are a nice touch, too, for when the sun shines down on Denmark's capital.

*This home sleeps seven guests, with the last guest sleeping on a sofa bed in the lounge. We think this bed is better suited to teens or for a short stay. *The apartment building has no lift access, so be prepared to climb some stairs. *There's only one bathroom, so prepare for some waiting around in the mornings. *This home is in a central spot, so expect to hear some street noise. *Your host politely asks you to respect quiet hours between 10pm and 8am and the apartment is fitted with a noise sensor. *The kitchen is compact and better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals. *Please note that there is currently scaffolding covering some of the façade of the building.
