Set in an inner courtyard belonging to the iconic Nyhavn Harbour, this design-savvy apartment is right in the thick of things. Part of a grand period building, while the shared entrance is pretty unremarkable, inside this home is a real gem. The living area is light-filled, and two of the elegant bedrooms have inter-connecting doors – handy for family sharing. There's also a single sofa bed in the lounge for teens who'd rather not share. The communal courtyard and playground are a nice touch, too, for when the sun shines down on Denmark's capital.

This home sleeps seven guests, with the last guest sleeping on a sofa bed in the lounge. We think this bed is better suited to teens or for a short stay.
The apartment building has no lift access, so be prepared to climb some stairs.
There's only one bathroom, so prepare for some waiting around in the mornings.
This home is in a central spot, so expect to hear some street noise.
Your host politely asks you to respect quiet hours between 10pm and 8am and the apartment is fitted with a noise sensor.
The kitchen is compact and better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
