The owners provide seasonal flowers, a tasty sponge cake for your arrival and tips on what to do nearby. The property opens up to an open-plan living room with an electric wood burning effect fire, a fitted kitchen and dining area. There is one double bedroom, one twin bedroom with an en suite shower room and WC, and one single bedroom. There is a separate family bathroom and WC. The gardens that surround the property are packed with cottage style plants, and the ‘Virginia Creeper’ that cloaks the barn to make it a real hideaway cottage. There is access to a large meadow with a table, chairs and benches. Ample off road parking is available. The Piggery is a perfect property for those with limited mobility.

Lydney, Gloucestershire is a short drive away from the pretty village of Woolaston, which is nestled peacefully between the eastern edge of the Forest of Dean and the River Severn. Visit the historic walled town of Chepstow with its impressive Norman Castle and the celebrated racecourse, whilst the pretty market town of Monmouth, with its stunning stone-gated bridge and the riverside market town of Ross-on-Wye with timbered Tudor houses, excellent shops and restaurants are within reach. Also within driving distance are the 12th century abbey of Tintern.
