This minimalist Scandi-style apartment offers the ideal coastal getaway for a couple or solo adventurer. Cleverly designed, the open-plan living area makes the most of the small space and brightens up the kitchen area. Fix yourself morning breakfasts or evening dinners on the sleek modern countertop to enjoy at the marble dining table. Then relax on the couch and flip on the large TV. We love the acoustic wood feature walls in both the living room and the bedroom, which add texture to the clean lines and simple design of the home. When you’re ready to explore, the town of Whitby is on your doorstep, with its many pubs, shops and cafes. Nestled in West Cliff, you’ll find fun arcades and famous fish restaurants, while the Blue Flag West Cliff beach and promenade is just a quick five-minute walk away. Wander the narrow medieval streets of Whitby and climb the 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. If you head a bit further out of the town, you’ll discover the surrounding area’s woodland and moorland, with plenty of beautiful spots for long walks and scrumptious picnics.
