The cottage is in the heart of Weymouth, a charming seaside town with award winning sandy beaches. The town s harbour is full of life, whether it is the fishing boats and yachts on the water or the shops, cafes and restaurants on shore. Strolling along the esplanade, you can breathe in the sea air and enjoy the stunning sweep of Weymouth Bay. A short trip to Portland (3 miles), the location of the 2012 Olympic Games sailing, offers great walks and a visit to the famous lighthouse at Portland Bill, as well as being the southerly start of the dramatic, 18 miles of Chesil Beach. A little further afield is beautiful Lulworth Cove and one of Dorset s most famous landmarks, Durdle Door (15 miles). This charming, two bedroom period property is set on a pretty pathway, a short walk from Brewers Quay and the bustle of the harbour. Please note, that part of the cottage s charm is that it faces onto a quiet pedestrian path, so parking is not possible immediately outside. However, parking is available on nearby streets.
