A stone's throw away and you are in the village with its array of pubs including a bistro pub within 50 metres, restaurants and attractions and a short stroll from the popular family attraction of Wookey Hole and the infamous witch of Wookey Hole. There are many lovely walks in the surrounding area and a 2 minute drive leads you into England's smallest city of Wells, notable for its stunning architecture, the finest of which can be seen in the cathedral and adjoining moated Bishop's Palace. The city boasts an array of individual boutique shops, delis, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Street, famous for its outlet shopping village and a Mecca for bargain hunters is also close by. A number of must see spots are within easy reach including Glastonbury with its Tor, that can be seen from miles around, the Abbey ruins, Chalice Well and Gardens. Further afield but still in easy reach are the major attractions of Cheddar Gorge, Bath, Bristol and Longleat. Upon entering this beautiful property you will walk into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area has flagstone floors and open fire, perfect for a cosy night in watching a film on the 3D TV. Moving through to the kitchen/dining area you will find it is extremely well equipped offering integrated oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, wine cooler, washing machine, Nespresso Coffee machine and iPod/iPad/iPhone docking station. This area is ideal for a family breakfast before a long out exploring the wonders of Somerset. Heading up the cottage style stairs to the first floor you will find the master king size bedroom which is light and spacious with a TV and benefits from a modern en suite shower room. Next door there is a cosy twin bedroom with countryside views and a TV. There is a family bathroom on this floor with bath, separate shower cubicle and WC, with underfloor heating. Outside you will find a small seating area with bistro table and 2 chairs perfect for a morning coffee. Also, approached by a nearby path is a small, secluded garden nestling next to a pretty orchard surrounded by beech trees, the garden provides a wonderful sunny retreat where guests can relax with a glass of wine.
