Looking for a cosy and comfortable cottage for your next holiday getaway? Look no further than Cuain Cottage, Watchet! Recently renovated throughout, this charming property is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

With 3 bedrooms, Cuain Cottage can comfortably accommodate up to 4/5 guests. The bedrooms include one king-size bed, one smaller double bed, and one single bed, ensuring a good night's sleep for all. The open-plan feel downstairs, with a galley kitchen and cosy lounge complete with an electric fire, creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Upstairs, you'll find a shower room (no bath) and central heating throughout. Wifi, heating, and electricity are included in the price of your accommodation, and bed linen and towels are provided for your convenience.

Cuain Cottage is ideally located right next to the harbour at Watchet, a lively, historic market town with plenty of pubs, shops, and restaurants within easy walking distance. And with easy access to the coast, the Quantock Hills, and Exmoor, there's plenty to explore and enjoy during your stay.

Please note that Cuain Cottage is strictly no smoking, and we regret that no dogs are allowed. Check-in is from 4 pm, and check-out is by 10 am.

Facilities
The ground floor at Cuain Cottage boasts an open plan feel with galley kitchen, table and chairs for 4 and cosy lounge with 2 sofas and TV. There is also an electric fire for cooler nights. The property is fitted with gas central heating throughout, which can be adjusted to suit your preferences.

Upstairs are the three bedrooms, one king-size bed, one small double room and one single bedroom. Also on the first floor there is a small bathroom with a shower, toilet and hand basin (no bath).

Children are welcome, however, you will need to provide any necessary childcare equipment e.g. high-chair, stair gate etc.

The kitchen is fitted with fridge (with freezer compartment), electric oven and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, tassimo machine, a variety of cookware, kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses. There is a washing machine in the kitchen.
A television with Freeview is set up in the sitting room.
Other equipment include an iron, ironing board and hairdryer.

Wifi is available in the cottage at no extra cost, and there is also good 4G coverage in Watchet.

Bed linen and duvets are provided for your convenience, together with towels.

There may be other non-perishable items like salt, pepper and oil available. Cleaning materials such as washing up liquid, cloths and rubber gloves will be present in the property. One or two toilet rolls will be provided.

The property will be ready from 4 pm on the day of your arrival. Please depart by 10 am on the last day of your stay. Please leave the property clean and tidy so that we can guarantee it will be ready on time for our next guests.

Location
Watchet has bags of charm and is a great little town for exploring Exmoor, the Brendons or the Quantocks, which are all a short distance away.

Situated on the coast, Watchet certainly packs a lot in - there's an active Marina, an Old Port, many quaint houses and narrow street, museums, shops, restaurants, pubs and takeaways! It's an ideal place to stay for a few days or even longer, with many walks in beautiful countryside, along the interesting coastline or just enjoy the Esplanade and the Marina and soak up the charm of the town.

Watchet has so much history, you will have plenty to explore. In the Iron ages, Dawes Fort was built above Watchet to protect the port and area. Samuel Taylor Coleridge's poem The Rime of the Ancient Mariner was written whilst travelling through Watchet and the surrounding area. With its harbour and rail connections Watchet was an important trading town. Today, the West Somerset Steam train stops at Watchet on route between Minehead and Bishops Lydeard.
