The ever popular Corfe Castle is home to the much photographed castle ruins, which are in the care of the National Trust. Within the village centre, there is a great range of local amenities including pubs, independent shops, a grocery store and a bakery. The village is surrounded by rolling countryside, including Corfe Castle Common, which is criss crossed with miles of footpaths through spectacular scenery. A steam railway line runs from Corfe Castle to Swanage (4 miles) and is a great way to visit this seaside town, which boasts traditional amusements and a sandy beach. Other popular destinations are Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, both with in a 13.5 mile radius. Also easily accessible is Arne nature reserve (4 miles), The Tank Museum (9 miles), Studland (5 miles) and Monkey World (8 miles). A sloping path gives access into this single story property. Once inside, you are met with a welcoming hallway, ideal for leaving muddy boots and coats. There is a useful separate WC too.
