Take a short drive to Padstow with its trendy restaurants and bustling harbour, spend the day in the surfing mecca of Polzeath or visit Port Isaac, famed in the TV series of Doc Martin. Wadebridge which adjoins Egloshayle is a great shopping town with fine individual boutiques or take a trip to the cathedral city of Truro, the Duchy's capital. Attractions in the area include many National Trust properties, Bodmin Moor, Bodmin Steam Railway, Go Karting, The Eden Project and many fabulous local beaches like Bedruthan Steps and Watergate Bay.
