The nearby beach at Steephill Cove is accessible only on foot, and therefore offers a tranquil retreat from some of the island s busier stretches of seafront. Steephill Cove is a laid back kind of place, where instead of arcades and amusements, the beachfront offers a well regarded restaurant and a seasonal crab shack. Above the cove, Ventnor Botanic Gardens is a wonderful place to spend the day walking amongst the plants and stopping for lunch at the cafe or the well regarded restaurant which specialises in the local produce. This spacious property has been designed in a reverse level fashion in order to make the most of the spectacular views, meaning that the main living area can be found on the first floor. Taking the stairs from the hallway, guests will find the welcoming open plan lounge/kitchen/diner where a large picture window offers stunning sea views which can be enjoyed from the choice of sofas and chairs.
