You can even pull up a beanbag and unwind by the dazzling infinity pool before jumping into the crystal-clear waters for a refreshing dip.

While the scenery alone is worth staying for – picture the sparkling blue ocean, endless sky and rocky coastline perched on the horizon – the modern conveniences and sleek design are icing on the cake. Thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors, you'll always be able to feel the fresh sea breeze on your skin. Plaka's handful of tavernas and the family-friend Almyrida Beach are an eight-minute drive away – but if you don't mind a longer journey, Chania is forty minutes by car and well worth a day trip.
