The property

A stunning, first floor granary barn conversion, situated on the owner's working dairy farm next to their own home, in a semi-rural position, just half a mile from the centre of Valley on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey.

This fantastic cottage is a superb romantic retreat for a couple, also offering flexible sleeping so will appeal to two friends.

The level of attention to detail, with wonderful, individual pieces and unusual items made and locally sourced, make this cottage very special indeed and will create and make wonderful memories for you to take away and cherish.

Appointed to an extremely high standard, stylish, modern and a little contemporary in places, this delightful cottage is spacious, light and airy and has a wonderful interior throughout with exposed stone and beams complimented with soft furnishings and lovely fabrics.

The impressive open plan living space is extenuated by the double height ceiling and has a wonderful seating area where you can relax and snuggle up for a cosy night in, watching your favourite film after a busy day out and about exploring, and the lovely woodburning stove will ensure you are warm and toasty, especially if the weather takes a turn for the worse.

The dining area provides the setting for a romantic candlelit meal, prepared in the very well-equipped and appointed kitchen which caters for all your needs and has a wonderful island.

The stunning bedroom boasts a beautiful super king-size double bed, which can be made up as a twin if preferred, will ensure you have a good night’s sleep before heading off for the next day’s adventures.

The bathroom is just superb!

spacious and bright with a separate shower and a beautiful freestanding roll top double ended bath is the ultimate indulgence, perfect for a long soak and a bit of pampering after a day on the mountains, nothing quite like it to soothe those aching muscles!

The Granary is located a half mile from Valley, where you’ll find excellent food served all day in the Relish Café, Valley & Bull Hotel, Catch 22 Brasserie and Enoch’s fish and chip shop.

There are many good shops including a Post Office, Hair and Beauty Salon, Butcher and a Spar convenience store.

The villages of Trearddur Bay and Rhoscolyn, with their sandy beaches for safe bathing, are within a five-minute drive.

The Sustrans National Cycle Route 8 passes close by and the Anglesey Coastal Footpath is within one mile, if you wish to explore the island’s coastline.

Other nearby attractions include the South Stack Lighthouse with its RSPB Reserve, and the port of Holyhead with a good selection of amenities is only three miles away.

The Granary provides the perfect retreat for that extra-special break in a truly wonderful location, anytime of the year.

Trearddur Bay 4 miles.

Valley is a popular village on the north west coast of Anglesey. It is on the Anglesey Coastal Path with plenty of wonderfully scenic walks. The village boasts a variety of shops and restaurants, two hotels and a café, and is only four miles from the renowned beach resort of Trearddur Bay and Rhoscolyn. Here you will find a beautiful sweep of grassy coastline with rocky coves and award-winning sandy beaches, as well as a choice of shops, pubs and restaurants. Other nearby attractions include the South Stack Lighthouse with its RSPB Reserve, the port of Holyhead, with its regular ferry links with Dublin in Ireland, and easy access to the coast road around Anglesey with delightful beaches to visit and a host of other attractions to please the most discerning of visitors.
