Spend idyllic days playing with the corn hole set in the garden and enjoy lunch at the picnic table under the mesquite and desert willow trees, while you listen to the birds. As the desert light fades, sit by the fire pit, dine on the patio under the bistro lights, or unwind in the six-person hot tub. Our favourite place is the hammocks, looking up at a sky full of diamonds – this place is terrific for stargazing. Indoors, relax on the sofa with a beer or challenge someone to a game on the foosball table – this home is made for entertaining. Your lovely hosts can also help set up spa and meditation sessions, as well as a private chef and movie nights, amongst many other activities. If you can tear yourself away from this desert paradise – go for a hike in the stunning Joshua Tree National Park – it's only a ten-minute drive to the north entrance.
