The cottage is close to Howarth, the Yorkshire Dales, the Peak District and the Forest of Bowland. With a multitude of walks and cycle routes straight from the doorstep, it is perfectly located for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. Todmorden itself boasts several quirky pubs and bars, along with many cafes and restaurants to try. The vibrant town of Hebden Bridge is only a short drive away where you can wander the cobbled streets, browse the bohemian shops and art galleries or sit by the river and enjoy a nice ice cream. Todmorden and Hebden Bridge are connected by the Rochdale Canal and you can enjoy a walk along the towpath or hire a boat. For family days out, Hardcastle Craggs, Townley Hall and Eureka! museum are all within easy reach.
