Watledge sits at the bottom of three large commons and The Cotswold Way passes nearby for keen walkers and cyclists, along with the historic canal with towpaths meandering through the valleys into Stonehouse. Visit the vibrant nearby town of Stroud, voted the best place to live in England 2021 and renowned for its farmers market. For those looking for a little more adventure there is the Cotswold Gliding Club offering day courses. Water sports at the Cirencester Water Park, Gatcombe Park for enthusiastic eventers, Westonbirt arboretum, Bath, Badminton, Tetbury and Cheltenham for the races, theatre and seasonal festivals including the renowned literature, food and jazz festivals to name but a few. The second floor offers a twin bedroom, finished with beautiful wallpaper and dual aspect offering stunning views of the hamlet and town. This floor also offers the opportunity to hide away in the bathroom and soak in the roll top bath. Outside the cottage enjoys a sheltered, large terrace, a generous table and chairs where you can sit and relax over a glass of wine. This private area transforms into a Mediterranean haven when the sun goes down and the ambient lighting showcases the mature fig tree. There is off road parking for one car, along with roadside parking subject to availability.
