The living areas in this single-storey barn conversion consists of an open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, wine chiller, TV and woodburning stove, and a communal laundry room with washing machine. There are two super-king-size bedrooms (zip/link), serviced by a bathroom. Outside there is an enclosed rear garden with patio, lawn, furniture, and hot tub, and off-road parking for two cars. Two well-behaved dogs welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, dressing gowns and towels are all included in the price. Travel cot anf highchair available. You'll find a shop and a pub in 1.7 miles. The Byre is a charming dwelling for a countryside escape to the Vale of Glamorgan. Note: Two large dog kennels available for use. Note: Access for walking/dog walks to the heritage coastal path via fields on the farm. Note: The property is situated on a working farm.

Area
A charming community called St Brides Major may be found in the Vale of Glamorgan, close to the South Wales coast. The village contains everything needed for a self-catered stay, including a farm shop, The Fox pub offering traditional fare, a village hall, and a florist, while Bridgend, further into the county, is a hub of amenities. In terms of attractions, Merthyr Mawr Natural Reserve and Ogmore Castle are located on either side of the River Ogmore, while Dunraven Bay and its clifftop viewing point are close by. With its expansive seafront, the Grand Pavilion, the Porthcawl Museum, and The Wilderness Lake, Porthcawl is a must-stop off while in the area.
