The harbour town of Mevagissey is a fifteen minute drive away and is a lovely place to while away an afternoon, wandering its narrow streets, watching the fishing boats come in and trying out one of the harbour side restaurants. Truro is only a 10 minute drive where you can enjoy an abundance of shops and restaurants. Fowey, another well known harbour town is great for a day out. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are also very close by, as is the beautiful Georgian town of Charlestown, with its tall ships moored in the harbour, shipwreck museum, and sandy beach. Or why not take a day trip and explore what the North Cornish Coast has to offer. This cottage style annexe is a wonderful place to spend some time away from the stresses of everyday life. Entering the property up two shallow steps from the enclosed patio brings guests straight into the lounge/diner, with its comfortable seating, TV, and DVD, making this a lovely space in which to relax after a day exploring the local area. Outside, the property benefits from its own pretty patio area, which provides space for alfresco dining or a quiet drink as the sun goes down.
