With a range of beautiful walks from the doorstep and the Pennine Way within easy reach, there is a range of tracks and trails to suit walkers and cyclists of all abilities. There is a delightful country pub close by and the pretty village of Ripponden is only 2 miles away, where you will find a selection of independent shops, bars and cafes. Visit the wonderfully quirky market town of Hebden Bridge (6.5 miles) or spend the day exploring the popular village of Holmfirth (16 miles), home to the Last of the Summer Wine exhibition and its very own vineyard. A fantastically central location, both the Yorkshire Dales and Peak District National Parks can be reached within 26 miles. Step through the door into this delightful single storey holiday property and feel instantly welcomed into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Lovely furnished throughout, relax around the dining table and enjoy spectacular views over the West Yorkshire countryside. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need to rustle up a home cooked meal and the lounge boasts a Smart TV so you can settle down and watch a movie with your family in the evening. There is also a sofa bed here to sleep an additional two children. Take a look through one of the leaflets in the utility/boot room and plan what to do with the rest of your stay.
