For those who like to explore the local area, the town of Barnstaple is just twelve miles from the cottage. The spacious barn offers upside down style accommodation, with the upstairs living area being accessed via a set of external steps. The large open plan lounge/kitchen/diner is the perfect space in which to relax, with its comfortable sofas, a warming wood burner, TV and DVD. The lounge area is separated from the kitchen/diner by the stairs. The large dining table comfortably seats six and the kitchen is well equipped with an oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, and washer/dryer. Taking the stairs to the ground floor, guests will find the property s three bedrooms, all of which have their own TVs (Smart TV in master bedroom) and French doors with access to the property s garden. The main bedroom has a super king size bed (which can be made up as a twin on request) and an en suite shower room and WC. The second bedroom is also a super king size bed (which can be made up as a twin on request) and the third bedroom is a generous sized twin room. The main bathroom is also on the ground floor and offers a shower over bath and WC. Outside, the property benefits from a generously sized enclosed garden which is mainly set to lawn, with a large private hot tub, patio with seating and BBQ. Guests have access to a 6 acre field to exercise dogs and can enjoy a lovely walk to the lake, there is also a shared children s play area opposite the cottages.
