Situated on the border of Exmoor National Park you will be spoilt for choice, renowned for its dramatic coastal views, heather moorland, ancient woodlands, steep combes and Exmoor ponies. For those who love the sea, Saunton Sands beach with its three and a half mile epic stretch of golden sands backed by dunes perfect for the family, surfing and dog walking, is just a 25 minute car journey away from the barn. The historic market town of South Molton is just a five mile drive away, renowned for the market which is held twice weekly in the towns pannier market, you can easily spend an afternoon wandering around antique shops and small boutiques whilst still making time for a famous Devon cream tea. A perfect retreat, yet conveniently located for the various attractions in the area including Diggerland, The Milky Way Adventure Park, The Big Sheep, Cobbaton Combat Collection, RHS Rosemoor Gardens to name but a few. On entering this delightful barn you are greeted by the entrance hall that offers ample space for wet coats and muddy boots. To your left is the beautiful country style kitchen which offers an electric oven and gas hob, a dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave and fridge with ice compartment. Off the kitchen is the dining area that has a table with dining for six and is just perfect to gather around for a simple supper. Across the hall is the warm and inviting lounge area. This area has exposed beams, wood burner, TV and views over the gardens, the perfect setting for an evening in with family or friends. After a long day of exploring head upstairs to rest your head, here you will find three bedrooms. A super king size with a Jack and Jill bathroom with roll top bath and WC, a king size with en suite shower room with WC and balcony area with views over the garden and a cosy twin. The main bathroom is linked with the master bedroom. Heading outside you are welcome to enjoy the surrounding area, which offers 30 acres of ancient pastures and natural habitat, encompassing a lake with drawbridge (children must be supervised at all times), ornamental garden and traditional mowed nature trails, home to an abundance of wildlife and many unusual flowers. Also on offer is your very own private patio area with garden furniture and gas BBQ. There is off road allocated parking for two cars.
