The property has four bedrooms, two super-king-size (zip/link), a king-size and a double, serviced by a shower room and a ground-floor shower room/utility, sleeping a total of six guests. The property also has a living/dining room with double-sided multi-fuel stove, a kitchen and a snug. Outside is ample off-road parking and an enclosed pet-friendly garden with a patio and lawn, plus secure bike storage. Dale View is an excellent base from which to explore the North Yorkshire coast and North York Moors National Park.

Area
Sleights is ideal for both a coastal and country holiday. Just 4 miles from the picturesque Yorkshire coastline, it is also on the edge of the dramatic North Yorkshire moors country, littered with attractive villages and scenery, which is very popular with walkers and cyclists. Though quiet, Sleights boasts a pub, a fish and chip shop, an antique shop (with cafe), a butcher's, a bakery, a hairdressers, a cafe and a Post Office within a Spar shop. The North Yorkshire Steam Railway terminus is a few minutes’ drive, together with regular public transport to and from the nearby port of Whitby. Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire. It is an atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and, of course, the abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
