Enjoy a wander around the National Trust s Sheringham park, or hop on The Poppy Line s Steam train to Weybourne and Holt. This stretch of coast is a superb part of Norfolk for wildlife watching. With the coast path close by (0.5 miles), the bird centre at Cley next the Sea (8 miles) and the seal colony at Blakeney Point (9 miles), there are plenty of opportunities to see animals of all kinds. Climb aboard the mainline train to Norwich, which makes for a great cultural day out with its cathedral, history, and shops galore.
