Only a short drive away is the Lake District National Park which boats an array of activities such as, taking a boat tour around Lake Windermere or if you prefer to be more adventurous hire a boat and head out yourself. Kendal is a few miles away and is a town stepped in history with Kendal Castle which provides stunning views across the town plus a variety of shops or venues to take your pick from.
