addremove
This captivating home sits in a commanding position with stunning sea views. The village has its own sand and pebble beaches and the best crabbing pools on the Isle of Wight! There is a well stocked community shop and several cafés and restaurants. Take the short three mile trip into Ryde, by road or on foot via the coastal path, to find plenty of family fun and lots of shops, bars, and restaurants. The island is steeped in history with much to explore from Queen Victoria s holiday home, Osborne House, to Carisbrooke Castle. There are wonderful coastal and countryside walks in all directions from Seaview. Enter the property through the porch area which is a perfect place to drop off beach shoes and buckets and spades. Being a reverse level house, three of the four bedrooms are downstairs. The largest of these is on your right hand side with a king size bed and dressing table, along with ample storage space. Directly across the corridor are two more bedrooms, one of which has king size zip and link bed (which can be made into a twin on request), the other has a triple bunk with a double bed base. Also on the ground floor is a utility area with a washing machine and tumble dryer, a family bathroom with a shower over the bath, and WC, and a boiler/storage room with an overspill fridge/freezer. Making your way up the stairs you have the lounge on your right hand side with sofas, additional seating, a wood burner and access through the sliding glass doors onto the outside terrace with panoramic views across the Solent. Directly opposite the lounge you have the kitchen/dining area with an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and microwave. French doors beckons towards another balcony, offering panoramic sea views and a serene glimpse of the garden. The main bedroom leads off the landing, with a king size bed and en suite shower room with WC. Leading off the kitchen through the French doors is the balcony area overlooking the garden, with seating and a glimpse of the sea. Head down the steps to the patio area containing a BBQ where the chef of the group can cook up a storm on balmy evenings. The front driveway has parking for four cars.
