Activities include day trips to the Farne Islands, an afternoon spent walking or cycling to one of the many castles in the nearby villages of Bamburgh, Alnwick, Dunstanburgh and Warkworth, or visit Holy Island, home to the famous Lindisfarne Castle. Regular boat trips will ferry you up and down the coastline; make sure to keep your eyes peeled for grey seals. Seahouses Beach, a short walk from the cottage, is a sweeping, sandy affair and a big favourite of walkers and anglers. Seahouses is a popular holiday spot offering plenty of restaurants, pubs and an 18 hole golf course. This homely holiday cottage is located at the end of a peaceful lane. On entering the property, the spacious and airy lounge offers comfortable leather sofas for relaxing after a long day on the walking routes, plus a TV and DVD. Its coal effect electric fire will keep you cosy on colder evenings. A kitchen/diner includes an oven and hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, a microwave and a dining table for four. On the first floor are two bedrooms, a master bedroom with a double bed and a twin bedroom. Both bedrooms share a bathroom with shower over bath and WC.
