The Iron Pier

As you brace yourself for the salty spray at the end of Saltburn-by-the-Sea’s iconic pier, wouldn’t it be lovely knowing that you’re a ten-minute walk from a comfortable and luxurious home? Wind back through the streets of town, passing quaint cafés and restaurants en route, until you end up at this fabulous apartment. Its grand living room is the perfect place to kick off your walking boots and sink into the plush sofas. With stylish, light-grey walls and original white cornicing on the ceilings, the decor allows some other features to really pop. The bright-green book cabinet beckons you to pick a classic novel. The flame-coloured chandelier invites you to spend a cosy evening under its glow. And you can even light up the elegant fireplace to beat the seaside chill with a whisky in hand. As for the morning, we recommend sitting out with an Earl Grey on your private balcony, before another adventure in the north of England. With Saltburn Station just a three-minute walk, you can explore the country whether or not you’re driving – but it’s also a joy to hike in these rolling hills and moorlands.
