Home truths

If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.

The swimming pool, open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October, isn't fenced. If you're bringing children, they'll need to be supervised at all times.

While we love the overall design of this home, the bedrooms on the basement floor lack natural light.

There is mature artwork here. It may not be to everyone's tastes or suitable for children.

We recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. Parking is available here.

Meanwhile, smaller islands, such as Capraia and Pianosa are harder...
