As well as being a perfectly cosy space when the temperature's a little low, there's also a terrace with splendid views of the mountains that will come into its own during the warmer months.

Although, if you're happy to explore by yourself, the lifts up to the Rauriser Hochalmbahnen ski area lie a hundred metres from the front door.
