This home's proximity to the beach (just 250 metres away) makes it a stand-out. Private access is via pretty steep steps, and it’s shared with the villa next door, but you can't beat having the sea that close. The nearest taverna, bar and mini-market are a little further, so you'll need to hire a car or get a cab. But the views back home are stunning, and there's a pool to cool off from the sun. You can enjoy vistas from inside as one of the bedrooms opens onto the terrace. One of the more unusual design features is that the kitchen is open to the elements, but as Crete is known for its fantastic weather, that's not a problem.

There is another villa next door, with a low wall dividing the outdoor space, so there isn't much privacy.
The kitchen is open to the elements.
The pool is heated in April and May and October and November at 22-25°C, depending on weather conditions.
The bed linen and towels are changed every three days.
The two single beds can be turned into a double bed.
