This studio apartment may not be the biggest pad in our collection, but it's got most things you need for a stay in this UNESCO World Heritage city. And you won’t have to lug your cases upstairs as this place has that oh-so-rare amenity in Porto – a lift. The kitchen is quite small with not much space for food prep, but there are plenty of eateries on your doorstep. Located in the Lapa district, you’ll find some charming attractions nearby, including the Basilica da Estrela and the neoclassical Assembleia da República too.

Expect to bump into other guests during your stay. *This home has a studio-style layout with the bedroom being open to the living area. *The decor is simple and the aesthetics are not quite up to Plum Guide's usual standards. We've made an exception to let this one into the collection on account of its great location in Porto. *If you're travelling for work, you won't find a dedicated desk here. However, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace. *Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
