Petite and pared-back, this apartment is ideally placed for sightseeing. You'll find it nestled between the shops and markets on a pedestrianised street in the heart of the city. Exploring on foot is a breeze here – or, if you'd prefer to take it easy, there are metro stops and trams nearby. Back home, the living area isn't the biggest, and the compact kitchen makes cooking anything more than a snack a challenge. However, each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and the uncluttered design is a reprieve after a day out and about. There's even a tiny balcony overlooking the street – perfect for a quick spot of people-watching.

*While not all of the bathrooms are photographed, expect the quality and style to be consistent with the rest of the home.
*You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
*This apartment is in a building without a lift. You'll need to climb two flights of stairs to reach the front door.
*Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay. Light sleepers might want to pack earplugs.
*There isn't a washing machine here, but there are launderettes within walking distance.
