Area
Porthleven is a hidden coastal beauty in Helston, noted for its Flora Dance Festival. Porthleven is located between Lizard Point and Land's End and has unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean and Cornish coastline. The clock tower is at the harbour entrance, and taverns, stores, cafés, and restaurants cluster around the inner harbour, where there is plenty of boating and maritime activity. With lanes lined with classic Cornish, granite cottages, a lifeguarded beach, alfresco eating, and crabbing off the harbour, there are lots of things for the whole family to enjoy year-round.
Region
Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
