Situated on the harbour side of the village with outstanding harbour and river views this property is just wonderful. Polruan is an ancient fishing village famous for its boat building heritage. Perfectly positioned on the Fowey river estuary, which is a thriving centre for fishing, seafaring, shipbuilding and agriculture. There are two village pubs, the highly rated Lugger Inn restaurant, a café, a bakery, a village shop and a passenger ferry that will take you across to Fowey. Further afield there are plenty of places to visit and things to do. Why not visit the Adrenaline Quarry or tall ships at Charlestown, take the brewery tour in St Austell or visit the Eden project and/or the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Also for those interested in stately homes why not visit Lanhydrock in Bodmin. The property is easily accessed from the picturesque and car free Sydney Hill through a wooden door that leads onto a broad patio with stunning views of the harbour. There is a main door to a hallway with two reception rooms to the left and the dining room and kitchen to the right. The dining room has beautiful views over the river. Behind the dining room is a fully equipped kitchen with an electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and Nespresso machine. Turning left from the hallway is the sitting room with an electric feature fireplace and again views over the water. The second lounge comes with comfy seating, a Smart TV, the perfect spot to curl up after a day of exploring Polruan and south Cornwall.
