Starry Soak

Set in the heart of the Cornish countryside, this studio apartment has everything you need for some quality time away, whether that be with a partner or even a little time alone. Formerly part of a hotel, the plot has been restyled into a homely space, with a comfy king-size bed at the centrepiece of the room. We think there's somewhat of a Scandi-style interior here, with plain bedspreads, all-white walls and pale wood furnishings. There's also a convenient kitchenette for preparing breakfast and quick lunches, but it's less than a ten-minute drive into some of Cornwall's prettiest villages and some great food. Order the catch of the day at one of the seafood restaurants in Looe, or wander around Polperro's narrow cobbled streets until you come across a traditional pub. Sandy beaches and clear waters are also a short five-minute drive from home. The two beaches at nearby Talland are lovely for paddling or rock pooling. Further afield, Lantic Bay is only accessible by foot, meaning fewer crowds. For the ultimate relaxation, it's back home for a glass of champagne and an alfresco bath under the stars.
