Close to Ross-on-Wye and The Forest of Dean, this mediaeval village in Herefordshire features two excellent pubs and a well-stocked general store. The community is ideally located for a variety of hikes and bike excursions, with the Herefordshire Trail and the Wye Valley Walk both being easily accessible. There are several Tudor timbered houses in Ross-on-Wye, as well as a 17th-century market hall, unique shops, and bars and restaurants. You can also take a stroll along the River Wye, go on a tranquil river cruise, or take in the scenery from a hot-air balloon. Close by is England's largest oak woodland, the Royal Forest of Dean, where you can go on beautiful walks, bike rides, abseils, and canoe trips.
