Pull on your hiking boots and take on Cross Fell (6 miles), the highest mountain in the Pennines. Alternatively, take the gentle Ladies Walk through the village and along the river, followed by a delicious meal in the country hotel. The detached property is set across one level and has been decorated impeccably, with great care and attention taken to create a unique style. The open plan lounge/kitchen/diner is light and bright and features flashes of hot pink, which really bring the space to life. Cook up a storm in the sleek kitchen, which is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher.
