A small village with lots to offer, Shap is situated between The Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks.
The cottage is just a 5 minute walk from a couple of good pubs, cafe, shops, award winning Fish & Chip shop and even a heated open air swimming pool (available between May and September). For the train enthusiast, to the rear of the cottage is the West Coast main line, which occasionally plays host to vintage steam trains including The Flying Scotsman.
