The market town of Penrith is just 5 miles away, full of character, with a range of independent shops, cafes and restaurants to explore. With a variety of activities to choose from locally, including walking, cycling, fishing and golf, there is something for everyone. The area is also home to a number of historic sites, including the ruins of Penrith Castle and the beautiful Lowther Castle and gardens.
