The cottage is also just a mile from the start of the Hartside Pass which is very popular with cyclists. A short drive away is Ullswater, where you can take a boat trip or the steamer across the lake, stopping off to explore Aira Force waterfalls along the way. The market town of Penrith is also nearby (10 miles), with an array of shops, pubs, and restaurants to choose from. For an adventurous day out, there s a direct train service from here to Glasgow and Edinburgh if you fancy exploring the shops, museums, and art galleries slightly further afield. As you take the step up into the entrance of this property you will find yourself surrounded by the rustic charm and country style features of the open plan lounge/kitchen area.
