The property is situated in the centre of Pembroke, at the front, on a quiet cul de sac of a side road, and at the back overlooking the Mill Pond and Pembroke Castle. Pembroke has a popular high street with an array of independent shops, bars and restaurants. If you like history why not visit the castle the birthplace of Henry VII. The castle overlooks a beautiful mill pond where boats can be hired if you wish to spend a leisurely afternoon rowing around. If you like the coast Pembroke is a fantastic base to explore the many beautiful South Pembrokeshire beaches on offer. Freshwater East can be reached in under 4 miles or Barafundle Bay can be reached in 5 miles a must see in Pembrokeshire. The coastal path itself is just yards from the property, skirting the Castle. As you enter the property you are welcomed into a large tiled hallway with convenient space for coats and boots. To the left is the lounge which has two large sofas to sit you comfortably around the Smart TV. Curl up in this cosy lounge in the evenings and stream your favourite movies or television shows after a long day exploring the county. Down the hall you will find an open plan kitchen/diner with spectacular views over Pembroke Castle and mill pond, home to otters and swans. The kitchen is equipped with a gas hob and electric oven, American style fridge/freezer, microwave, and dishwasher plus enough kitchen equipment and utensils to whip up a hearty meal for the family. Upstairs on the first floor you will find three bedrooms plus a family bathroom. The first is a king size bedroom which enjoys views over the mill pond, the second has a super king size zip and link (which can be made into a twin on request) and the third room is a bunk bedroom perfect for families. All rooms have ample storage for clothes and belongings. The family bathroom has a bath, separate shower and WC. There is a washer dryer in the airing cupboard on the first floor. New for 2023, the lower floor of the house has been restored and now features a annexe which can be accessed via steep stairs down from the hall way. The Old Annexe area has a open plan living room, dining area and kitchen equipped with fridge/freezer and microwave. There is a king size bedroom (accessed via steps) with shower room, WHB and WC. The door of the annexe opens out onto a unenclosed area by the popular Watermans Arms pub and has access to the Millpond where you may catch a glimpse of nature. There are table and chairs for sitting out in the sunshine. Although the main part of the building has no allocated outside space, there are walks around the mill pond and places to enjoy a picnic and parks and green space are available within a mile of the property. There is on street parking subject to availability and a nearby car park.
