Nestled on the fifth floor, you’ll need to be fit to climb the stairs to this apartment – but we think the cityscape views from the balcony are worth it. Inside is cosy, and you’ll need to watch your head on the low ceilings on the upper floor – particularly in the bathroom, which is a bit of a squeeze. That said, this is an ideal base for a couple wanting to explore the city with ease. And while the kitchen is best for light bites, there’s a whole host of Parisian cuisine on your doorstep waiting to be enjoyed.

*Parking in Paris can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to the easily accessible public transport where possible.
*There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb five flights of stairs to reach the entrance of the home.
*You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
*There's no air conditioning here, but portable fans are provided for the comfort of guests.
*The ceilings on the upper floor are low in some places, so this home may not be suitable for taller guests.
*The bathroom in this home is very small. That said, it has everything you need to get ready for the day.
