The collection of black and white photography, along with the exposed brick walls add a touch of edginess, and the neighbourhood outside is similarly trendy. Wander along the Canal Saint-Martin, stopping off at the waterside bars and coffee shops – the area has a real arty feel, and is a little off the well-worn tourist trail. However, you aren't far away from the iconic museums and galleries of Paris – simply take a three-minute stroll to Jacques Bonsergent métro station and a train will take you there.
