Out in the undulating countryside of Umbria, this villa encapsulates the traditional Italian aesthetic with a few modern luxuries thrown in. A terracotta roof, honey-hued old stone and green shutters are all old-world charm, but the sparkling turquoise pool stretching out front is a reminder you’re in the 21st-century. Within the acres of grounds, you’ll find a shaded loggia for dining outdoors, perfectly manicured lawns, and dining for up to forty under wooden pergolas should you have something special to celebrate. Two self-contained cottages are ideal for members of the group who want a bit more privacy and one comes with a luxurious hammam-style shower. In the main old farmhouse (dating back to the 1700s), you’ll find huge social space for group celebrations with its own bar, a professional-grade kitchen in sleek chrome, and a full spa in the basement with a hot tub, sauna and Turkish bath. Snug sitting rooms set around working fireplaces are scattered throughout the villa and most of the rooms are fully independent with kitchenettes and seating areas under their wood-beamed ceilings.
