Elegant and attractive, this home boasts a peaceful location in the green hills of the Valdera Valley, southeast of Pisa. It feels a million miles from the hustle and bustle, but it’s close to the restaurants and shops of the village of Palaia. You can also easily visit Volterra and San Gimignano – if you can tear yourselves away from the private pool, that is. The south-facing terrace is a real suntrap, and you can dine alfresco thanks to the barbecue and pizza oven. There’s a main house and a converted barn, making this home ideal for a couple of families travelling together.
