If you’re seeking a traditional Apulian escape, you can’t do better than staying in this beautiful trullo. The conical-roofed home has been constructed from local stone and is a quirky base for explorations of Ostuni, Cisternino and Martina Franca. The outdoor veranda and wood-fired barbecue are perfect for alfresco feasting, and the private pool boasts wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. The main bedroom is housed in the oldest part of the trullo, with exposed stone walls to keep things cool in summer.
