Tucked out of the way in the spectacular Puglian countryside, just fifteen minutes outside the white city of Ostuni, this stunning whitewashed villa and traditional trullo combo offer guests an unforgettable opportunity to enjoy life's most civilised pleasures – good food, good wine and good company. The home's exterior and gardens best exemplify what Puglian life is all about. Not only will you find an outdoor kitchen for preparing meals, but an organic vegetable garden where green-fingered guests are welcome to themselves to the freshest produce, with zero chemicals and no food miles. After digging up your veg, we think you've earned the right for a lie down by the pool, interrupting your prime relaxation time only for cooling dips in the water and the occasional mouthwatering meal. Inside, the main house contains two en-suite bedrooms and a charming living room that leads directly to the shaded outdoor dining and seating area. Meanwhile, set separately from the main building, there's a private cone-roofed trullo building with a bedroom and en-suite bathroom – perfect for guests looking for a little more privacy during their stay. If you'd like to experience a slice of the area's culture, then Ostuni is well worth a visit. We'd... suggest finding a convenient place to park and simply wandering the maze-like streets of its historic centre and seeing what grabs your attention. With all the things to explore in Ostuni, it would be easy to forget that there are some beautiful beaches approximately 10km further.

You’ll probably spot Ostuni long before you reach the so-called White City of Puglia. It rises up on three hills, above the rust-red earth punctuated by olive trees. It’s a veritable labyrinth of ancient alleyways, where you can sample traditional Puglian fare like handmade orecchiette and oozing dollops of burrata in terrace restaurants, or taste a Salice...
