Relax with a float in the inviting swimming pool or while away the afternoon on the barbecue patio – you’re surrounded by verdant hills here. Inside, the open-plan living area is super sunny, thanks to sliding glass doors that lead out onto the terrace. It’s all about the modernity inside and although the staircase is a slick design feature, the open steps aren't suitable for young children.

    For those with reduced mobility, there's a ground-floor bedroom and bathroom here.

    Although it is suitable for infants (your host can provide a cot), it may not be suitable for young children as the stairs are unprotected inside and the swimming pool is unfenced.

    Two of the bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom which is listed as an en-suite. As is common in France, the toilets may be separate from the bathrooms.

    If you're travelling for work, you won't find a dedicated desk here. However, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace.
