This property is located in the eastern region of the Lake District National Park, between the shores of Lake Windermere and the historic town of Kendal. Kendal makes a great destination for a day trip, with several shopping arcades and some stunning architecture, as well as two castles, and two museums. Heading in the opposite direction, visitors will come to the eastern shore of Lake Windermere and the lakeside town of Bowness, which is a great place to sign up for a range of watersports, or join one of the leisure craft which run up and down the lake. For those who want to enjoy the area around the lake from dryland, why not head for Fell Foot, an expansive lakeside park offering lakeside walks, plenty of space for picnics, and a children s adventure playground. The front door of this property opens and leads into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This room has a lovey cosy feel thanks to the original period features, including the dark wood beams. The lounge area is located towards the front of the room, a relaxing space with comfortable chairs, a TV/DVD, and DAB radio. The dining area sits close to the lounge, whilst the kitchen is situated towards the rear of the room and is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine, whilst the tumble dryer can be found in a separate shared laundry room. Stairs lead up to the first floor where there are two bedrooms, the first of which is a pretty double room with a window seat and cupboard alcove adding to the room s character. The second bedroom has a super king bed, which can be made up as a twin on request, and from which a door opens onto an exterior veranda. The bathroom can also be found on the first floor and offers a shower overbath and WC. There is access from the living space into the attractive enclosed shared garden through a low 'windoor' (as in photos) which consists of a patio seating area with garden furniture and a BBQ, beyond which there is a lawn offering panoramic views of the Lythe Valley. There is parking for two cars , one car has a designated space to the side of the property, the other can park off road near to the property.
