The village offers all of the essentials to its visitors, including a traditional country pub, a petrol station and a shop, whilst a hockey and cricket club are available for entertainment purposes. Within easy reach is the well-kept course of Northop golf club, along with Broncoed Park and the Theatre Clwyd.
