Niwbwrch is a 13th-century settlement on Anglesey. The hamlet is notable for its enormous sand dunes and Niwbwrch Forest, one of the most significant red squirrel conservation locations in the UK. Llys Rhosyr has the ruins of a pre-Edwardian court and excellent views over mainland Wales and Snowdonia National Park. After exploring the region, refuel at The White Lion with ales and pub food. Treath Llanddwyn beach and Eglwys Santes Dwynwen and Goleudy Twr Bach are nearby. Niwbwrch is near Bangor and Snowdonia National Park, which have many walking paths.
